No prompts about if you should start saving and working towards your first ship purchase. There is no real introduction to how the game works. Which means there is zero replay ability for this game. Which means there will be one meta way to play that allows you to not die. It pigeon holes anyone playing this game into one style of play. I think I clearly see the issue with the combat now, there is no real game play difference between the ships, and all the different weapons are around the same ranges. Normal should be playable without constant death, especially since the developers moved away from a rogue lite genre. Play tested by people that aren't gonna lie to themselves and say it doesn't need a few tweaks to make it more balanced rather than hardcore, or extreme or whatever people are calling it these days. After playing for a while I get the impression that this game hasn't been play tested. You'll just get swarmed and killed faster. ![]() Drone and enemies velocities are too high so you can't outrun them, or play the game of killing a few off at a time and retreating. Even moving around trying to dodge doesn't seem to work as they'll just gang up on you and kill you faster. The auto hit ratio of the enemies puts them in the 90% range from what I can tell. ![]() The long range combat seems to be a no go, and the drones are too accurate and fire too quickly. Simply put even on normal I'm struggling to progress without dying a lot in specific missions where the levels are even.
